| |
The Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg with its
scientific and engineering courses of study supplies local companies
with engineers, lawyers, scientists and arts scholars. The Faculty
of Economics and Social Sciences, where former German chancellor
and economics minister Ludwig Erhard also studied and lectured,
is based in Nuremberg. It trains business administrators, social
economists, economists, industrial computer scientists and industrial
teachers. It has an excellent nationwide reputation and with some
5,000 students is one of the largest and most distinguished economic
institutions in Germany.
