NürnbergMesse - modern exhibition center

Nuremberg has one of the most modern and functional exhibition centers in Europe. A total of some 160,000 m² of hall space and over 75,000 m² of outdoor space are available. The exhibition center incorporates a congress and conference center with a varied range of rooms. With the new CCN East the congress capacity at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center will increase to more than 11,000 seats.
Nuremberg occupies 7th place in the German exhibition hierarchy and an average 10th position by European comparison.
The exhibition center manages over 23,000 exhibitors and 1.3 million visitors a year from Germany and abroad, tendency rising.
The full program of the Nuremberg exhibition venue currently includes around 75 trade fairs and congresses, some with accompanying exhibition, five end consumer themes and around 50 other events (exhibitions, conferences, etc.).

In the segment for end consumer trade fairs and exhibitions at the Nuremberg exhibition venue, AFAG Messen und Ausstellungen GmbH, Germany's biggest private exhibition company, is particularly active. Its best-known events are CONSUMENTA and Garten + Freizeit.
